Greeters Needed
"There is no "I" in team," but there is in "family." Join our team of greeting hosts as we safely welcome, check and seat those who come to worship each week. It's a great way to know your church family better and help build a more solid and connected community.

Gift & Thrift
Helping People
The number of homeless women seeking assistance has grown considerably. Loss of employment, husbands leaving, and mortgages becoming overwhelming are only some of the reasons they become homeless. Once there is no address, it is impossible to get a job. With no place for personal hygiene, etc., loss of dignity and low self-esteem set in. These women develop a syndrome of hopelessness that is difficult to rise above.
We, at Gift & Thrift, are able to provide help: clothing for job hunting and transportation (bus passes or gas cards). We also provide information regarding homeless services networks and pray with each one. We receive blessings from our assistance: people return to celebrate finding work, share babies that may have arrived, or update us on progress. Sometimes they ask about church services and beliefs, which we are happy to share. Please support us by donating quality items and/or shopping with us.
If you would like to help us, contact Wynn Smith, 407.668.5351.
