Mask Update

In this ever-changing world that we live in, we are all learning how to be flexible as we do our best to make the best choices possible. Back in August, as Orlando became a rapidly-increasing hotspot for COVID, the CDC gave guidelines that stated that everyone should wear a mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. As our church has consistently done in the past, we look to local and national data and information to help us make choices in regard to COVID, and we asked that everyone wear a mask.

Well, as Central Florida, and more specifically, Seminole County has seen a major decline in the positivity rate of the COVID transmission to below the 10% threshold that we have used in the past, our Church Board and AdCom has affirmed the decision to continue to encourage wearing masks while indoors, but make it optional, starting October 16. Obviously, we'll keep watching as things progress. Thanks you for giving grace as we, as a church family, move forward together.

—Pastor Matt

Angel Trees

The Angel Trees are now up in our main lobby! We will be supporting Orlando Children's Church this year, and we invite you to take a tag or two, starting this Sabbath! Please stick to their requested list of food. Thank you!!

Florida Prison Ministries

We are collecting new or gently used Bibles (NIV or NKJV versions preferred) to share with the local 33rd Street County Jail inmates. Please leave the Bibles in the basket in the main lobby. Mark funds for local "Prison Ministry" on the tithe envelope to give Christmas gifts to inmates.

Affordable Housing

Home and apartment rents in Metro Orlando have increased in the last year and will likely continue to rise. This has become a serious problem for many in our area who are already struggling financially. The church office is frequently receiving calls from those looking for a room/in-law suite to rent from a Christian individual/family.

If you have a room or apartment available to rent (or know of someone who does), please share your information with the church office. We will be glad to pass it along to someone in need of affordable housing.
