From a young age, Matt felt a calling to be a leader.  Having been blessed to see what Pastoral leadership looks like as a “PK" (Pastor’s Kid), Matt felt God calling him specifically to lead in the local church setting.  He loves Jesus and loves to help others fall in love with Him too as they begin a journey of becoming a disciple.  After serving in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference from 2007 till 2021, he accepted the humbling call to serve as Lead Pastor of Forest Lake Church in July 2021 and is enjoying watching God do amazing things in Central Florida.  Matt is married to the love of his life, Jenn, and has two wonderful boys, Caffrey and Canaan.
