We were created to have freedom of choice and to be responsible for our own thinking and actions. It is true that we are the happiest when thinking and behavior are consistent with a growing spiritual life, and to this end, the mission of the counseling services at Forest Lake Adventist Church is to help individuals, couples, and families achieve God’s best for their lives—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Counseling services are offered that focus on awareness of present feelings, safe expression of these feelings, and taking responsibility for feelings and choices leading to appropriate, and ultimately, healing actions. Our services are open to peoples of all faiths and beliefs.
