Tim Nichols

Tim was born in Michigan and moved to Florida prior to high school. He is an alumnus of Forest Lake Academy in the class of 1975. He also graduated from Southern Missionary College (now Southern Adventist University) with a bachelor’s degree in theology. 


After spending a year as a pastoral intern in Wichita, KS he attended the Seminary at Andrews University graduating in 1982 with a Master of Divinity degree. He served as a pastor in several churches in Kansas-Nebraska until 1987 when he received a call to the Florida Conference. 


He was pastor for nine years in Plantation, Florida and five years at the Orlando Central Church. Tim served as an Associate in the Pastoral Ministries Department in the Florida Conference from July, 2001 until January 2011 when he became the Vice President for Pastoral Ministries. In 2012 he completed a Doctor of Ministry degree in leadership at Andrews University. Tim became the Executive Pastor of the Forest Lake Church in February of 2018.
