Pastor Clifford Robbins (wife - Georda) passed away on August 1. He was a former pastor of Altamonte Springs Church, Head Elder at FLC, and father of Debbie Pinto. There will be a memorial service at FLC on Sabbath, August 30, at 3:30 p.m. 
In lieu of flowers, donations to Adventist Disaster Relief Association or Forest Lake Church Worthy Student Fund would be appreciated.

John Rauch (wife Marsha) very well-known in the area passed away on July 27. There will be a memorial service on Sabbath, August 30, at 4 p.m. at Spring Meadows SDA Church.

PATHFINDER REGISTRATION

Pathfinder Registration is open for August 16, 2025 to May 9, 2026.

Our Forest Lake Pathfinder club is part of the world-wide co-ed scouting organization of the SDA Church. We are dedicated to teaching our young people to know more about Jesus through nature and the Bible. We learn to follow His example through actions of love and service to people, while growing in a stronger relationship with Him.

Your 5th-12th grader (or age 10 and above) is welcome to join and be a part of the Forest Lake Pathfinders!

Meetings are typically twice a month on the same Sabbath afternoon as Adventurers.

Join us every Saturday morning in Room 28 from 8–8:25 to pray for our church, ministries, and the people God is sending us! 

PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS

Do you have a passion for the spiritual lives of our students? High school can be a time of tremendous growth, but also anxiety. Every Wednesday, we write personalized notes (and add a cookie!)  to the high school students in our church to let them know they are loved, valued, and prayed for. Join us at 8:15 in the Connection Center off the main lobby to help. If you have a student who does not attend FLA that you would like us to send a note to, please contact Christina Algeo at calgeo79@gmail.com.

PRISON MINISTRY

BIBLES for Local Inmates — We are collecting Bibles to share with inmates at the Orange County jail. If you have any lightly used or new Bibles please place them in the Container provided in the church lobby Connections Room. Preferred Bibles would have soft covers, newer versions such as NIV or NKJV, and larger size print. Thank you for your faithful support of the Prison Ministries activities.
