MEMORIALS

Richard Ross (wife is Lynn) passed away on Tuesday, May 13. Richard volunteered in maintenance at FLC for several months before they moved to Collegedale. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, May 29, at Heritage Funeral Home in Chattanooga, TN. Viewing: 11a.m;  Service: 1 p.m.; Graveside service: following. The service will be streamed.


Enid Lindo passed away on May 2. She would have been 101 years old next month. A Memorial Service is being planned at Forest Lake Church for a future date.

Join us every Saturday morning in Room 28 from 8–8:25 to pray for our church, ministries, and the people God is sending us! 


PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS

Do you have a passion for the spiritual lives of our students? High school can be a time of tremendous growth, but also anxiety. Every Wednesday, we write personalized notes (and add a cookie!)  to the high school students in our church to let them know they are loved, valued, and prayed for. Join us at 8:15 in the Connection Center off the main lobby to help. If you have a student who does not attend FLA that you would like us to send a note to, please contact Christina Algeo at calgeo79@gmail.com.

    FOR SINGLE PARENTS

    A support group emphasizing the joy, love, and blessings of the Single Parent life that can often be overlooked. Please come join us as we encourage, uplift, and prayerfully guide each other to lean on and depend on Jesus through this unique path of life together! 

    Meets the 2nd & 4th  Saturday of every month, at 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

    Flex and Stretch

    Come join us to develop physical and spiritual strengths as we flow through the class with intentional focus on scripture and God’s grace, the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Wholeness of God. The exercise and stretching level is beginner to intermediate and participants should be able to go from a seating to a standing position. Please bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water for hydration.

PRISON MINISTRY

BIBLES for Local Inmates — We are collecting Bibles to share with inmates at the Orange County jail. If you have any lightly used or new Bibles please place them in the Container provided in the church lobby Connections Room. Preferred Bibles would have soft covers, newer versions such as NIV or NKJV, and larger size print. Thank you for your faithful support of the Prison Ministries activities.
