Myke Antoine (wife: Jennifer) passed away on Wednesday, October 5. There will be a Viewing at 2:00 this afternoon, at FLC, and Funeral Service at 3:00.

 

There will be a Memorial Service for Sandy Graves, Jr. on Sunday, October 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the FLC Lobby.

Florida Hurricane Relief Fundraiser

RipplAffect is SDA all-volunteer, non-profit, humanitarian organization with a mission to improve the health and well-being of families by providing access to clean and safe drinking water. We invite you to please help NOW victims of Hurricane Ian in Florida by raising funds for Tap Water Filters and 1000 Hygiene Kits to help families that lost everything. Distributions in collaboration with Advent Health will take place at the local Department of Health / FEMA Disaster Center. 


RipplAffect will continue to support existing projects in KenyaPeruHaiti and the Philippines along with new initiatives in 2023 in Ghana and Pakistan. Our immediate focus is to support the needs of people in Florida after Hurricane Ian and the 150,000+ residents of Jackson, Mississippi that have been left without clean drinking water for months.

Hands & Feet Ministries invites you to join us for a campus wide Community Service Day serving alongside your church family! Please sign up for the location where you would like to serve. There are serving opportunities on our campus as well as in the community. Please only sign up for one location. There will be a short worship at 8:30 am in the sanctuary for those that are able to attend.  Please note: regular church services and Sabbath School classes will be canceled.  Lunch will be provided in the church lobby at 1:00 pm.

Looking for a group for those on the journey of parenting? Join us the first Thursday of each month from 2 pm–3 pm in Classroom 3 for a time to share and support. Facilitated by Pastor Steve.



DIVORCECARE

This 13-week group meets on Tuesday evening 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm via Zoom starting September 6. It is open to anyone who is separated, going through a divorce, or who has survived a divorce. There is a minimal charge for this group, but financial help is available for those who need it. It is led by led by Jessica Lopez. She can be reached at divorcecareleadership@gmail.com



GRIEFSHARE

PRISON MINISTRY

We are collecting Bibles to take to the local jail.  If you have any lightly used or new  Bibles to share with inmates, please leave in the church lobby Connections room.  There is a collection box provided there to deposit the Bibles.  The newer translations and larger print is preferred reading.  New “Reading” glasses are appreciated as well.  We are also planning for the Holiday time and collecting money for items to go into the Christmas Gift bags for inmates.  Please mark any donations for “Local” prison ministry.  Thank you for your faithful support of the Prison Ministries activities.
