FLEC FAMILIES CONSTITUENT MEETING

Hello Parents of FLEC Students!

Hopefully your student(s) have had a good start to this school year and are adjusting to new teachers, new schedules and new classrooms. What a blessing it is to have such an incredible school that desires to grow the minds and hearts of children to not only know more academically but also spiritually, as they grow with Jesus every day.

As you know, Forest Lake Church is one of six constituent churches that support Forest Lake Education Center, and it is a wonderful honor to partner with you and your student(s) to assist with a significantly discounted rate. Forest Lake Church believes whole-heartedly in Adventist, Christian education, and it is a joy to be a part of the mission of discipling young people.

As a constituent church member, there are specific criteria that you need to fully understand in order to qualify as a constituent, so you are invited to a required meeting to be informed of the scope of what it means to be a constituent. In order to accommodate busy schedules, there are two dates for you to choose from.

October 19, 2025 4-6pm – FLC Church Sanctuary

If you have a wind or string instrument that’s been sitting in the closet—or even if you’re just getting started—this is your chance to jump in. All ages and skill levels are welcome! The plan is simple: gather on Friday evening (Oct 10), we'll play and squeak through a few familiar hymns, and then share them together in Sabbath worship services (Oct 11) the next day. 

This is not about perfection—it’s about fellowship, fun, and letting God spark inspiration and joy through music. Bring your instrument, bring your smile, and let’s make a joyful noise together! Join us every Saturday morning in Room 28 from 8–8:25 to pray for our church, ministries, and the people God is sending us! 

PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS

Do you have a passion for the spiritual lives of our students? High school can be a time of tremendous growth, but also anxiety. Every Wednesday, we write personalized notes (and add a cookie!)  to the high school students in our church to let them know they are loved, valued, and prayed for. Join us at 8:15 in the Connection Center off the main lobby to help. If you have a student who does not attend FLA that you would like us to send a note to, please contact Christina Algeo at calgeo79@gmail.com.

PRISON MINISTRY

BIBLES for Local Inmates — We are collecting Bibles to share with inmates at the Orange County jail. If you have any lightly used or new Bibles please place them in the Container provided in the church lobby Connections Room. Preferred Bibles would have soft covers, newer versions such as NIV or NKJV, and larger size print. Thank you for your faithful support of the Prison Ministries activities.
